At SCSS we provide two core services across Australia: Counselling for individuals 18+ and Supervision for practitioners and the broader workforce. Our Counselling Services are tailored for adults, couples, and families aged 18 and over, including NDIS participants and employees accessing EAP counselling. Beyond the therapy room, we offer Professional Supervision for both clinical and non-clinical roles, supporting counsellors and therapists, alongside frontline workers, case managers and support staff. Whether you are seeking personal growth or professional resilience in a high-pressure role, we are here to provide a safe and supportive environment for you to be heard.

All our Counselling and Supervision Services are delivered online or by phone across Australia, giving you the flexibility to connect from the comfort of your own space. Supervision Services

Our supervision services are designed to help you reflect on workplace dynamics, strengthen ethical decision-making, and gain clarity and confidence in your role. All supervision services are delivered online and over the phone across Australia, allowing you to access professional support from your own space.

To cater for the diverse needs of the Australian workforce we offer two types of supervision:

  • Clinical supervision for counsellors and therapists focusing on therapeutic practice and their, their clinical work and much more.
  • Non-clinical supervision for the broader workforce such as: support workers, case managers, mentors, business owners, frontline workers, operational and administrative staff, including reception, clerical and office-based workers who play a vital role in service delivery.

Dinah Silvana Guerra, known as Silvana, is a bilingual Practitioner deeply committed to walking alongside individuals as they navigate their unique life journeys. Known for her down-to-earth and sincere approach, she provides a steady, consistent presence that allows clients to explore their innate resilience and reclaim a sense of agency. By fostering a genuine and secure therapeutic relationship – often balanced with a warm sense of humour, Silvana assists individuals in exploring practical solutions and goals, empowering them with new perspectives and tools to respond to their life matters with greater awareness.

Silvana is the founder of Sound Counselling & Supervision Services Pty Ltd, bringing over 15 years of counselling expertise and over 7 years of experience providing clinical supervision within a non-government organisation. As an ACA Level 4 Counsellor and a registered member of the ACA College of Supervisors, she upholds high professional and ethical standards.

Beyond the Therapeutic Room

Outside of her clinical work, Silvana strives to maintain a balanced life. She enjoys her time in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes, as well as in the garden cultivating growth. Silvana deeply values her quiet moments of reflection in the morning; alongside the time she spends entertaining and sharing food with family and friends. Her pursuit of cultivating a sound mind is rooted in these experiences of connection, reflection, and being open to personal growth. Whether she is in the garden or enjoying a meal with loved ones, she embodies the principle of holistic wellbeing – a value she carries into her collaborative work with both clients and supervisees.
